What is ClockOnline.us? What is an online alarm clock?
ClockOnline.us is a free online alarm clock that rings at the time you set and can also open any website, YouTube video or radio station automatically. It runs entirely in your browser and works on desktop, tablet and mobile.
How the alarm works
- 1Pick the time you want the alarm to ring.
- 2Optionally, enter a website URL (YouTube video, radio, anything). For YouTube on mobile, append &autoplay=1 at the end of the URL.
- 3Click Activate alarm.
- 4When the time arrives, the alarm rings and the URL opens automatically. Keep this tab open for the alarm to work.
- What can you use it for?
- Use it as an online alarm and wake up to your favorite song, video or radio station.
- Never miss a TV show or live stream — set a reminder that fires the moment it starts.
- Trigger automated tasks by opening a webhook or service URL at a specific time.
- Surprise a friend on their birthday by opening a video or song at midnight.
- … and many more uses!
Important tips
- Make sure your device volume is high enough to hear the alarm.
- Disable automatic system updates while you wait — a forced restart would cancel the alarm.
- Disable sleep / hibernation on your computer so the alarm keeps running.
- On mobile, browsers throttle background tabs. Keep ClockOnline open and visible (or in split-screen) for best accuracy. For YouTube videos add &autoplay=1 to the URL.
Limitations
- Keep this tab open until the alarm fires — closed tabs can't ring.
- Browsers require a click to allow audio — that happens when you press Activate alarm.
- On phones, locked screens may pause the timer. We use Wake Lock when available to mitigate this.
Frequently asked questions
Is ClockOnline.us free?
Yes, the service is 100% free. The site shows ads to keep it running.

Does it work on iPhone or Android?
Yes. On mobile, allow notifications and keep the screen on for best accuracy. Add &autoplay=1 to YouTube URLs to play automatically.
Can I install it as an app?
Yes, ClockOnline is a Progressive Web App. Use your browser's "Install" or "Add to home screen" option.
Do you store my data?
No. Everything happens in your browser. No account, no server-side storage.
